Just starting out!

I caved and realized this was one of the best ways to share our family's events and add the detail that makes it unique to our clan. There is so much going on at the Maddux house and for those of you we don't see too often - this will keep you up to date!

Texas is treating us well. We're so happy to be back and have reconnected with many of our old friends which has made it feel so much like home. We're doing the apartment thing for awhile and it' not too bad...less to clean, saving money, kids are right there all the time:) It's just what we needed while we were going through this transition.

Justin is loving his job with Autotrader.com. He is home each night for dinner and actually has watched an entire season of Michigan football (although it's not a great one to watch). His territory is in North Dallas and growing as he learns more.

I am back at Raytheon as an Operations Engineer in McKinney and loving it! I am blessed that they had a position open up in the last few months and jumped at the chance to be a part of the company again. I am still selling Silpada and Arbonne and look forward to picking them back up this winter now that we've found our groove.

The kids have completely adjusted to their "pre-school" as we call it. The daycare is awesome and they are learning so much. Linnea is learning to write her alphabet and Beau is learning to sing it! They are the best of buddies. There isn't a day that goes by that I regret them being so close in age. It's very entertaining.

Stay tuned as we're off to FL this weekend to celebrate Justin's 30th birthday! There will be lots of goodies in store for the birthday boy and I will update the site with many stories and pics upon my return.

Welcome to the blog world! It's a lot of fun, and a great way for family and friends to keep up! We've had ours for just over a year, and I love it.

It was a sweet trip. Next year we need to rent a houseboat in Ten.
