We pulled it off!! Some of our family and closest friends flew down to Daytona to celebrate Justin's 30th birthday. After Justin told me "it's not in my genetic make up to keep a surprise" we actually got him. Thursday evening 6 of our friends from college walked into the condo just to say happy birthday:) He was definitely caught off guard although I don't ever think he'd be speechless. We spent the evening and very early morning catching up, Friday we went deep sea fishing and then hosted a fish fry. Saturday we actually saw Michigan win a football game! The kids got to spend time with their Gramma at the beach and we actually got to sleep in! It was an amazing weekend, wonderful weather, great food and the best friends anyone can ask for. Thanks to everyone for making it possible!

Yup, mine is this Sunday. No special plans - probably just dinner somewhere. It's kind of sad, but I don't really have too many good friends here yet. I have friends, but I don't feel very close to them yet. Hopefully that will change! :-)
